TV PRODUCER / DIRECTOR
DIANE SCHUTZ
ABOUT
I specialize in non-fiction storytelling. I have produced and directed shoots in over 40 countries, resulting in a large body of work that includes documentaries, non-scripted television series, branded content, and assorted web projects. I have produced programs for CNN, Travel Channel, PBS, Food Network, Viceland, Cooking Channel and National Geographic.
I produced and directed multiple episodes of the Emmy Award-winning travel series, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations and Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. I am the recipient of James Beard awards for the PBS series Gourmet’s Diary of a Foodie as well as Avec Eric.
Memorable moments in the field have included getting stuck in wartime Beirut, burning six tons of cocaine in Panama and contracting cutaneous larva migrans in Rajasthan.
